Triethanolamine 85% is a weak base with hygroscopic qualities, making it an excellent alkali agent in moisturising hair treatments such as shampoos, conditioners, hairspray, solutions for perms, and fixing gels. It may be found in eye shadows and pencils, mascaras, face cleansers, and eye creams and lotions in cosmetics and facial goods.
