Nonyl Phenol Ethoxylate (9.5 Mole) is the 9.5-mole ethoxylate of nonylphenol. This surfactant is a water soluble, nonionic surface-active agent which is compatible with other nonionic surfactants and with most anionic and cationic surfactants.

It appears as a light yellow to clear viscous liquid having a phenolic odour, and may be formulated by acid-catalyzed alkylation of phenol with a mixture of nonenes. It is also used in the production of antioxidants, emulsifiers, and lubrimayt oil additives.
