Menthol Crystals are derived from mint, and are a solid constituent of mint oil with a waxy consistency. The mint Essential Oil is derived from the Mint leaf through the process of distillation, then it is frozen in order for it to crystalise, forming Menthol Crystals. It is an excellent ingredient for the skin and hair.
In their natural state at room temperature, Menthol Crystals appear to be colourless or white, with a waxy texture. At temperatures that are above room temperature, they begin to melt and may easily dissolve in essential oils, water, oil, or alcohol.
