Caution
Carbon, chlorine, nitrogen, and oxygen make up the industrial compound known as Trichloroisocyanuric Acid. Trichlor or TCCA are other names for trichloroisocyanuric acid. Although this water chemical has various industrial applications, its most common one is as an industrial disinfectant. It is a white, crystalline powder.
Because of its outstanding chlorinating tendency and the existence of hereditary cyanuric stabilisers, TCCA is used to sterilise and disinfect swimming pool water. This maintains the pool free of germs and algae.
