Caution
Coco Glucoside is a gentle non-ionic surfactant made from coconut oil and sugar. It appears as a semi-viscous yellowish liquid, and acts as a natural surfactant and emulsifier which is known for its excellent foaming and cleansing properties. It also functions as a stabiliser, and is used in everything from liquid soaps, various skin-care lotions, herbal shampoos, eye-creams, bronzers, masks, and foaming cleansers. It is suitable for sensitive skin, and is thus an important ingredient in moisturising body washes and lotions.
One of the most gentle emulsifying agents available, it eases the effects of skin conditions like dryness and acne, without causing further irritation. It is also completely biodegradable, GMO-free and contains no parabens and phthalates.
