1. Paraffin Wax (900g)

This smooth, refined paraffin wax helps even melting and gives a glossy finish. It is a popular choice for those looking to make bright colours and a strong scent throw in their candles.

2. Stearic Acid (100g)

Adds hardness and opacity to the candle while also aiding with easy release from the mould and with burning quality.

3. Fragrance Oils – Orange Zest & Apple Orchard (100g each)

Looking to brighten up your day? Fill your space with fresh and energising aromas with these brightly coloured, fruity fragrance oils. They are oil-soluble and ideal for fun, upbeat candles!

4. Red Oil-Soluble Colour Pigment (50g)

Oil-soluble colour pigment that you can intensify to acrylic paint strength makes it easy to bring colour to your paraffin candles. You can blend to create warm oranges or extreme pinks and reds.

5. Candle Macron Mould (1 pc)

Sturdy candle mould with an easy-release feature so that you can create neatly shaped candles every time. Ideal for beginners and small-batch candle makers.

6. Cotton Candle Wicks (5 pcs)

Great, strong wicks that are pre-cut and hold upright and burn well with paraffin wax. Easy to fix and stay released with a good-quality burn. Create consistent smoke-free flames every time.

Basic Paraffin Wax Candle Formula (per 100g of wax)

 

Steps to Make Paraffin Wax Candles

1. Melt Wax

Heat wax in a double boiler to about 75°C (167°F). Do not overheat.

2. Add Stearic Acid

Stir until fully dissolved. This step helps with hardness and opacity.

3. Add Colour (Optional)

Mix in a small amount of oil-soluble candle dye until the wax is evenly coloured.

4. Cool & Add Fragrance

Once wax cools to 70-75°C, gently stir in fragrance oil for even scent distribution.

5. Prepare Mould

Stick the wick to the center using a glue dot or wick holder.

6. Pour Wax

Pour melted wax into the mould slowly and steadily. Let it cool at room temperature.

7. Set & Cure

Allow the candle to set for 24-48 hours. For best performance, cure for up to a week before burning.
