Argan oil is extracted from the seeds of the argan tree, which is indigenous to southern Morocco. The traditional method entails removing the thick skin and mushy pulp of the argan fruit before manually breaking the nut to access the oil-rich kernels inside. The kernels are crushed and pressed to extract pure, unfiltered argan oil, which is then decanted and filtered to yield an even clearer oil.
As a consequence, the oil is incredibly nourishing and readily penetrates the skin, increasing moisture and protecting the skin barrier.
