Caution

Polyvinylpyrrolidone K-30 (PVP K-30) acts as a stabiliser and film former, providing a strong and stiff hold. It is a hygroscopic and amorphous polyvinylpyrrolidone polymer powder that shows excellent compatibility with acrylate thickeners.

It may be used as an emulsion stabiliser in creams and lotions, and as a dispersant for hair colourants. This ingredient is water-soluble, and is compatible with most inorganic salts and many resins.
